My model of the Stormcloak guard helmet from Skyrim.
The Reference was gathered in game then set up in Photoshop. The base object was modeled in Maya then exported to Pepakura for unfolding/UV layout. Then it was brought into ZBrush to capture texture info and sculpting.

LOVE THIS! I don't suppose you have any plans on making the scaled helm from Skyrim too? Argh... there are just way too many great ideas to pull from that game!
