While working on my N7 Armor costume I've also been developing a model kit I plan on building someday. All of the initial modeling is finished and the pieces are separated. Now all I need to do is go in and hollow out each part and combine the dynamesh objects together for printing.

the hard edges near the barrel look too hard though imo
some more curves would do wonders

Great work, I look forward to seeing it printed! I used game data to machine one a few weeks back, lacking most of the detail. One thing I did notice, which you might want to think about before you get it printed, is on the back of the grip section - where the grip widens at the top rear can be a bit uncomfortable in the hand. It kinda digs in around the webbing between your thumb and forefinger. Could be worth softening it perhaps, I know I will be on mine!
